1. Annual commitment and payment schedule
The school contracts for the full agreed Limitless programme period. The school is normally the responsible payer. Where Beyond IQ and the school agree in writing before enrolment that participating parents or guardians will pay Beyond IQ directly, each parent or guardian is responsible for the agreed fee for their child’s place, while the school retains its educational and practical responsibilities. Unless the signed agreement states otherwise, the responsible payer pays in three instalments: 30% of the total fee in advance upon programme confirmation; 50% three months after the programme start date; and the remaining 20% six months after the programme start date. This is an instalment arrangement for the full agreed programme commitment and is not a monthly subscription.
1.1 Mid-year school enrolment
Where a school joins after the annual programme period has started, the licence element is calculated pro rata by complete programme months remaining, unless the quotation states another method. Example: an annual licence fee of €2,000 for ten programme months becomes €1,200 where six programme months remain (€2,000 ÷ 10 × 6). Teacher training and separately priced services or expenses are not automatically reduced pro rata. The quotation will state the adjusted total and payment dates; where six months do not remain, the final instalment date may be brought forward by written agreement.
1.2 Direct parent payments and consumer rights
Direct parent payment is used only where Beyond IQ and the school arranged it in advance. The parent receives a separate payment confirmation stating the fee, instalments, cancellation terms and applicable consumer rights. A parent who concludes the payment contract online generally has a 14-day statutory withdrawal period. If programme access or services begin during that period at the parent’s express request, the legally permitted proportionate charge or loss of withdrawal right applies only after the required information, request and acknowledgement have been provided. Exercising a consumer right does not transfer the school’s responsibility for student selection, attendance, behaviour, communication or safeguarding coordination.
2. Cancellation by the school
Unless the signed quotation or programme agreement states otherwise, cancellation must be made in writing by an authorised school representative. If the school cancels at least one full calendar month before the programme start date, cancellation is free of charge and all programme fees already paid by the school or participating parents are refunded in full to the respective payer. If the school cancels less than one calendar month before the programme start date, Beyond IQ retains or charges €75 for administration and reservation, allocated as stated in the payment arrangement, and refunds the remainder of programme fees already paid. If the school cancels on or after the programme start date, the responsible payer remains liable for the full agreed programme fee and all outstanding instalments, unless Beyond IQ agrees otherwise in writing.
3. Rescheduling or material change requested by the school
A written request received at least 14 days before the planned start may be accommodated without a rescheduling charge, subject to availability and recovery of expressly agreed third-party costs. A request received between 14 and 5 working days before the start may incur 50% of the affected delivery cost. A request received fewer than 5 working days before the start may incur 75% of the affected delivery cost. A material reduction in cohort, scope, licence access or programme period requires written agreement and does not automatically reduce the annual fee.
4. Cancellation or material change by Beyond IQ
If Beyond IQ cannot provide a material part of the programme, it may offer a qualified replacement, reschedule the affected delivery, provide an appropriate alternative format or issue a proportionate credit. If no reasonable equivalent is available, the school receives a refund or credit for the material part not supplied. Beyond IQ is not responsible for indirect travel, accommodation or consequential costs unless expressly agreed or required by law.
5. Withdrawal of an individual student
Withdrawal or absence of an individual student does not automatically cancel or reduce the agreed programme commitment. Where the school is the payer, the school may propose an eligible replacement student. Where the parent is the agreed direct payer, cancellation and any replacement are handled under the parent-facing payment confirmation while the school must still approve any replacement student. All replacements remain subject to Beyond IQ’s reasonable approval and safeguarding, group-composition and onboarding requirements.
6. What the fee covers
The price covers the programme licence and the agreed two annual teacher-training sessions, together with the digital and curriculum resources expressly included in the licence. Printing, physical materials, equipment, rooms, devices, internet access and all other implementation costs are the school’s responsibility, as set out in the Terms and Conditions.
